Local Love: Featuring EscoGelato

The weather is warming up and new ways to cool down are always hot, so we decided to feature EscoGelato, a little cafe in Escondido that is known for its paninis, Zumbar coffee (yes, it doesn’t need cream or sugar because it’s that good) and, of course, their mouthwatering seasonal flavors that rotate (sometimes daily).

Even if you don’t have a crazy sweet tooth like me, you will be wooed. My husband is the savory-type and I can’t tempt him with much of anything sweet, but he can’t pass up the blueberry cheesecake gelato.

Just to give you an idea of all of their amazing flavors: Limoncello, Marscarpone Fig, Cardamom Orange, Cream Cheese Caramel, Candied Maple Bacon + Chocolate Raspberry-- just to name a few!

Next time you are in North County, pop by 122 South Kalmia for a cooling treat. Your date will be impressed, or if you care going solo as I have many-a-time, your taste buds will love you enough for a second date ;-)
